Angie Crichton serves as Site Director for Next Door Social Space https://nextdoorsocialspace.com/ which first opened its doors in 2012 as an outgrowth of their work with Compassion Society and Motel Ministry. Angie, and her team of volunteers spend much of their time cooking healthy and delicious take-away meals multiple times per week that are distributed at a central location (Wellington Square Church) for vulnerable families and individuals signed up to the meal bag program. Also, Next Door has successfully collaborated with other churches of various denominations (Wellington Square, Compass Point, Glad Tidings, St. Christopher), in sharing food and preparing meals since the pandemic hit. Today, Angie joins us to share her personal faith story which was very instrumental in how she came to do what she is doing today with Next Door Social. Angie’s story is a beautiful example of how God can work in any person’s life to bring about His perfect plan as we yield to His lead.
