Joy Byers
Joy Byers experienced a tough season due to the loss of family members and considered walking away from it all. When moment(s) of celebrations usually take place, she was grieving. Joy lost three of the most important people in her life in one week. When Joy’s granddaughter was born, her daughter was pronounced brain dead. Soon after; Joy’s uncle who was a powerful influence in her life passed away. Thirty minutes later her aunt whom she spent almost every summer in England with as a child, passed away. There was a tiny glimmer of hope that God was still there and could hear. Joy truly believes the only thing that stopped her from walking away was the power of a praying community, friends who prayed while Joy seemed bitter. Joy joins us to discuss how God helped her through this season.
