Matthew Schroeder is from Toronto and is the Director of Marketing and Communications at Tearfund Canada – a Christian international relief and development charity that works through and with local churches to end poverty. Matthew also serves on the steering committee of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank resource working group and as Chair of the Tearfund Family marketing group. Over the past 4 years, Matthew has engaged churches in Canada and abroad on the topic of creation care and attended COP26 as a delegate in 2021. He is also one of the Canadian representatives of Renew our World, a global movement of Christians campaigning to make the world more fair and sustainable. During his free time Matthew enjoys going camping and hiking and trying all sorts of new food. He attends Hope Church Toronto West with his wife, Sally, and soon-to-be daughter.
