Nate Coehoorn
Nate Coehoorn grew up in a Christian home but found himself going through some struggles in his early adult life. This led to Nate getting caught up in the party scene and making some bad choices. Thankfully, Nate’s story doesn’t end here. Nate’s Christian upbringing was never far from his thoughts and his heart. When he started playing football, Nate chose to wear #85 in honor of his hero, Milt Stegall, a strong Christian, and one of the greatest receivers in CFL history. Nate’s football career took off when he was a star player in University with the Calgary Dinos. Nate was drafted into the CFL in the first round as a 5th pick in 2011. He went on to play 6 seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos and won the 103rd Grey Cup with the Team in 2015. Nate retired in April of 2017 due to concussion related health concerns. Nate calls Medicine Hat home and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
