Father Ronald Angervil was born and raised in Haiti. He remembers as a child his family went to church regularly through the encouragement of their mother. They stopped going on a regular basis shortly prior to the death of his grandmother; her passing became a struggle for his mom, especially in her faith. Father Ronald's family started to go back to church more frequently around the age 11. Around the age of 13, Fr. Ronald developed the desire of wanting to go to Mass every Sunday, out of his own initiative; it was no longer because it was an obligation to do so. A few years later, his mom was kidnapped. The abduction compelled his community to pray for her return. He discovered the power of prayer upon his mother’s return. This event shaped Father Ronald’s understanding of faith. His family eventually sought asylum and moved to Canada. Father Ronald is currently the Associate Pastor at St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Grimsby, Ontario. http://www.stjosephgrimsby.ca/
Curtis Hartshorn
Curtis says: "Truth of my testimony is that I believed in Jesus Christ, but because of anger & bitterness due to being treated poorly by several 'Christians', I rebelled. I handed myself over to the demonic through sin and an obsession with darkness. They had got access points in my life, they tormented me. They harmed me in many ways. Eventually Jesus awakened me and showed me the reality of the demonic and the state of my heart. I repented of the sin, He set me free … broke the chains in my life and I’ve been following him in freedom ever since. During this whole process, Jesus never left my side once. He was always there with me and He would always pursue me even when I was in the darkest moments. He was always there, it was like He was sitting beside me. And that’s it, I can never escape Him, I can never outrun Him.
