TTC2022 Breakout - Paul Robertson
Today's Teens Conference 2022 • 52m
Every social media platform and online video game our students can access are not the real problem. However, the persuasive technology that drives all of them is and our kids have no idea how and why it happens. This workshop is designed to take you into the world just beyond the screen of your phone and explain why your students, and perhaps even you, are obsessed and addicted to them. Youth workers need to understand how girls and guys are influenced differently by the screens they use. Sixty practical ways to have a healthier relationship with your screens will also be provided. If you don't think this is an issue, then this isn't the workshop for you.
