Health Care Heroes | Sharon Martell
Healthcare Heroes • 2m 14s
Sharon Martell is a clinical social worker who works as a mental health therapist. She has a real
passion in working with indigenous communities because she sees a real need. Since the pandemic
started she’s noticed an increase in anxiety and depression. She’s seen an increase in suicides (5) in
one particular community she works with. She shares that some days are really hard and she has a
heavy heart, but she pushes herself to not give up but to keep going. Pray for God’s continued
strength over Sharon as she continues to love and serve those in remote indigenous communities.
