Dr. Tennille recalls story of caring for her first Covid-19 patient and the verse – Psalm 16:8 coming to
mind. She knows God is ever present and will never abandon her, and she will never abandon the
calling He placed on her life. She’s noticed her patients are having a hard time coping with the anxiety
and stress of this pandemic. She has learned during this pandemic that God is the anchor. He never
changes, and He’s the same yesterday, today and forever. She asks prayer for patients - peace, love to
overcome their anxiety. Peace for those who have lost loved ones. Strength for exhausted colleagues.
And that health care professionals would “find their way to the Great Physician” – the source of all
hope and peace.
