Adriaan and Dianna Verhulst, together with son, Kyle, join us to share Who Jesus is to them both individually, and as a family. 41 years ago, Adriaan, Dianna, and their two eldest children welcomed Kyle into their lives and their hearts. Born with Down Syndrome, Kyle’s arrival into this world brought with him much joy, but also fear and uncertainty as his young parents processed this new reality and began the journey of parenting a Down Syndrome child. Throughout the years, the trials and the victories, they can look back and say with certainty what a blessing from the Lord Kyle is as the Lord spoke tenderly and intimately to both parents in the early hours following Kyle’s birth. They’ve learned so much about themselves and about Jesus’ love, and their family, especially Kyle, spreads joy and the love of Jesus with everyone they meet.
