Crossroads Cares joins with World Renew helping drought-stricken Madagascar.
A special edition of 100 Huntley Street takes us to the South of Madagascar to some very remote communities. Cheryl Weber recently traveled to Madagascar and is joined by special guest co-host Jamie McIntosh, Executive Director of World Renew, Crossroads Cares partner in this project.
Madagascar is suffering its worst drought in 40 years. People are trying to exist on cactus and wild fruits. Crossroads Cares hopes to help 2,000 families stave off starvation; by supplying rice, beans, and cooking oil. In addition to drought, Madagascar is also expecting cyclones in January and February; locust invasion, and sandstorms the obstacles and tragedies faced are relentless.
James 2:16
"If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?
Together, we can show the love of Jesus by answering their prayers and saving lives.
Would you prayerfully consider a donation to help provide food to hungry families in Madagascar? https://donate.crossroads.ca/madagascar?
