Marcel Knot
As a teen, Marcel developed anxiety and depression and felt he wasn’t worth anything. At 17, he had enough. He left a suicide note on the table and went to a train station ready to jump to end his life. As a train was coming, a clear voice said to him, “I love you”. He questioned it, and said “If that’s you, you better show yourself to me.” He felt a force pushing him back from the platform and went home. A few months later, he went on a trip to Israel. In Jerusalem, God changed his heart. He felt a warmth and later realized that his anxiety and depression were gone. Now a youth worker on the Field Ministry Staff with e3 Canada, He shares the gospel and prays for people in Hamilton, and other local cities. Together with his team, they hand our water, granola bars, blankets (in cold weather) and ask if they need healing for anything. Here’s one man’s story of trying to make a difference … by simply letting these people know they’re loved and not forgotten. http://www.ge3ministry.ca> .
