Jervis Djokoto (MDiv, Tyndale Seminary, DMin Fuller Seminary Candidate) is a Ghanaian, Canada-based Pastor, Musician and Author. After serving as the President (and founder) of a Ghana-based ministry --Worshippers Ministry International (WMI), for over ten years, Jervis moved to Canada with his wife, Robin. While completing his Master of Divinity at Tyndale Seminary in Toronto, Jervis served as the Young Adults Pastor for Sanctus Church, a large multi-site Church on the outskirts of Toronto. During this time, Jervis founded the Young Adult Renewal Network (YARN), focusing on networking Young Adult Pastors to facilitate renewal among this age group. YARN has since evolved into The Renewal Movement, which is now focused on renewal for the Church, including but not exclusive to Young Adults. Later, Jervis served as the Missions Pastor of Sanctus Church, overseeing missions work and partnership locally and Globally. Currently, Jervis serves as the Executive Director for The Renew Movement - a budding global initiative focused on facilitating mentorship, training, strategic resourcing and consulting on personal, Church and global renewal. In this capacity, Jervis is serving the broader Church through his speaking and music ministry, inspiring and resourcing the Church toward experiencing God's renewing presence and power. In June 2023, Jervis took up a new role as the Senior Director of Church Health for the Free Methodist Church in Canada. As a member of the national leadership team, Jervis' primary responsibility is helping pastors and boards within the Network of Churches develop healthy churches, which includes adding healthy, culturally competent planters/starters (leaders lay/clergy) and projects (societies and projects) to the family of the Free Methodist Church in Canada and beyond. Over the years, as a Pastor, leader, speaker, author and musician, Jervis has served thousands through musical programs, teaching, conferences, and retreats for groups of all sizes in Indonesia, the UK, Uganda, India, South Africa, Canada and Ghana. Today he wants to see many more Churches and Christians deepen their understanding and relationship with the Holy Spirit and experience deep Spiritual renewal in Jesus' name. Jervis lives in the Toronto area with his wife, Robin, and their two children, Evangeline and Joseph.
