Dr. Bill Webster is someone who knows about grief, not just in theory, but from some very difficult personal experiences. His young wife died in 1983, and then in 2018 he lost his younger son in an accident. Dr. Bill was a grief counselor for many years before he retired, and is still a prolific author, and well-known international speaker. He has pioneered a model of community grief support which is currently utilized in many communities across Canada and around the UK, and he has been presented with several prestigious awards in recognition of his work. He brings a unique blend of personal experience, academic education and many years of practical application to his work.
