Nancy Hicks
Nancy and her husband, Cam, have been married since 1990 and have two sons—Aaron who is married to his darling wife, Rachel, and their beloved David who now lives in heaven. He died in May 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Nancy joins us to share intimately about her experience as she prepares to celebrate her first Mother’s Day this year after losing her precious son. Nancy hopes what she will share will serve to encourage and help other Mothers who are also grieving loss on this special day. For over a decade Nancy engaged millions of viewers as an on-air spokesperson for QVC—she understands what it’s like to try and balance work, marriage and motherhood, and Nancy in every season, she has learned the power of intimacy with Christ —she’s found true aliveness from within. After earning her master’s in theology from Palmer Seminary of Eastern University, she launched her international speaking ministry, NancyHicksLive, and today, Nancy speaks and teaches all over the world, inspiring others to enter into the depth of their pain with God, knowing that genuine life will be released in equal measure. The author of “Meant to Live”, Nancy has been featured on Hallmark’s Home & Family, The Jesus Calling Podcast, as well as in Publishers Weekly, The Christian Post, Christian News Journal, For Every Mom, Philadelphia Weekly and more. Through it all, she encourages people in every stage of their faith, including doubt, grief, and unbelief, equipping them to take their place in God’s Kingdom. http://nancyhickslive.com
