Leonor Ward
Leonor Ward is originally from Argentina. Her mother is Indigenous to the land, and her father, Italian background. Growing up in Argentina, Leonor was treated differently for having darker skin. Despite racial in-equalities, she continued to work hard. While in her 20’s, she never anticipated Argentina’s economic collapse would open a door for her to immigrate to Canada. Today, Leonor partners with the Indigenous people of Labrador, as Senior Research Associate for the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. Join us today as Leonor shares how God revealed to her how to overcome the shame of being Indigenous, and to believe God for a restoration of their self-determination and dignity. http://crossroads.ca/fpv

Ratanak International works exclusively in Cambodia to assist survivors of human trafficking and exploitation on the road to freedom and recovery. We believe the key to ending exploitation is to empower Cambodians to be agents of change and work together to confront systems that exploit the vulnerable. We walk with survivors on their journey from exploitation to freedom and hope, showing them the same love Jesus shows us. After much research and careful planning, Ratanak has recently started up a new men’s program. This journey brought about many fears, but also many wonderful successes. Through it all the Ratanak Team has learned that Christ is Lord over our fears and that He can take what we have to offer and do great things through us despite our fears. Brian brings an update about the precious lives Ratanak is helping through this important work. http://ratanak.org
