Olga
Olga decided to leave Kyiv after Russian soldiers attacked a nuclear power plant in Zaporozhye on March 4, 2022. Olga’s Mother and one of her two sons live in Canada, while her other son, who is 33 years old is still in Ukraine and not able to leave the Country. Olga recently sat down with Cheryl Weber to share her story – one of courage, perseverance, and hope amid incredible heartbreak and danger. Olga has witnessed first-hand the harrowing realities of the war still raging in Ukraine. She was with mothers and babies, elderly people, and others traveling through extensive circumstances to reach safety in neighboring Poland. Olga was able to come to Canada on a work Visa and she is truly grateful to Canada for their support of the Ukrainian people. While Olga is thankful to be here and safe, a piece of her heart remains in her home Country, and with her son who is there providing relief efforts to civilians. Our prayer is that Olga’s story will encourage everyone to keep praying, keep supporting and keep believing for God to intervene on behalf of our Ukraine brothers and sisters
