Micheal Otoo
In 2016, Michael Otoo was involved in a devastating pedestrian motor vehicle accident which left him in a coma for 5 days. He was told he would never graduate from school or play the sport he loved, basketball. Michael, along with his family and church community fell on their knees, praying for a miraculous healing. Through dedicated prayer, Michael's journey towards recovery began. Friends, teammates, family, church members and coaches came along Michael's side to help him reach physical milestones. Michael defied all odds to not only graduate school, but get back on the court and play basketball at an elite level. Michael joins us to share his powerful story of perseverance and resilient faith that led to his incredible comeback.

Mike Janzen
Following a serious concussion, musician Mike Janzen was suddenly left with a lot of time and where he couldn't read or look at screens, and so he began to take one or two lines from the book of Psalms, found in the Bible, and he meditated on these. He found that the words of these ancient prayers were full of cries to God in times of great distress. They lifted his spirits even though his circumstances weren't changing. They gave voice to his despair when he couldn't gather up the strength to call out for himself. Out of these meditations came an abundance of songs, some of which we are blessed to share this week on 100 Huntley Street. http://mikejanzentrio.com/psalms-project
