Covid-19 has been hard for everyone – our Guest today can attest to this. Sophia had been working in a corporate job which she decided to switch career paths in January 2020 not realizing what was about to happen just a short time after that, when the whole world seemed to change in an instant. Her plan was to do some traveling, which ultimately did not happen because of Covid, and then to start her own freelance graphic design business. However, starting a freelance graphic design business in the midst of a global pandemic was not easy. In the back of her mind, and her heart, she knew she had always felt called to start Vessel and Vine Apparel and decided there was no better time to do this, and so she went for it! Vessel and Vine Apparel is a Canadian Christian Apparel line that brings quality first with 100% sweatshop free clothing, original designs/embroidery and a portion of proceeds going to charity! V&V showcases the Fruit of the Spirit with a new collection for each fruit. Sophia has also since launched her “Love Collection” and “Joy Collection”! Her desire is that this venture will be a way in which she can use her creativity and passion to bring glory to God. The apparel line can be seen on the website www.vesselandvineapparel.com or via Facebook and Instagram @vesselandvineapparel

Annette Walker is a 100 Huntley Street Prayer Partner. As a child Annette while attending a Christmas candlelight service Annette recalls singing the last line of the hymn, Oh Little Town of Bethlehem - “Where meek souls will receive Him, still the dear Christ enters in”. The Anglican Minister explained to the children how they could ask Jesus to come into their heart. Suddenly Annette felt an “Oh Wow!” realization and said “yes” to God and was filled with joy and peace.
