Nik Wallenda
Nik Wallenda is the face of the Flying Wallendas, the famous circus family known for performing crazy feats without safety nets. Nik is also known for his daring televised tightrope walks, including over Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, and, in 2020, he will walk over an active volcano. Nik is a seventh-generation member of the Flying Wallendas and has been walking the wire since he took his first steps, but he had never experienced fear until a tragic accident in 2017. The eight-person pyramid he and several members of his family were practicing collapsed, and five of its members fell thirty feet to the ground. Miraculously, they all survived, but the accident changed Nik’s life forever. For the first time, he felt fear, and he had to learn to get past it to get back out on the wire. Most of us will never walk a tightrope, but we face things that scare us every day. Whether putting ourselves out there socially or seeking a dream job, all of us allow anxieties and fears to hold us back. Facing Fear is a reader-centric memoir, interweaving parts of Nik’s personal story of the accident and how he conquered his fear with practical advice for readers to overcome whatever fears are holding them back. This practical book will help everyday people step out in faith and trust that God will hold them steady, even when they’re afraid. http://nikwallenda.com

Karen Kingsbury
Karen Kingsbury waited tables to pay her way through college. She worked as hard as she could to serve those who ate dinner in her station each night, but often times she felt overlooked. Her dreams seemed faraway. Today Karen is a #1 New York Times Bestselling author and this generation’s favorite inspirational storyteller. There are more than 25 million copies of her Life-Changing Fiction™ in print. Her work takes her around the United States and the world. She does what she wishes people would’ve done when they sat at her table so many years ago: She sees people. She wants you to see them, too. “Tips should surprise people,” Kingsbury says. “It’s one way to show someone that Jesus is real … and that He loves us. Be generous. You can never out-give God.” In 2019, Kingsbury dreamed of a national movement where Christians would be generous tippers and tell people who serve the one thing they rarely hear. They are seen. Restaurant servers, coffee baristas, bathroom attendants, cashiers, police officers, firefighters. Soldiers or flight attendants. Christians give them a You Were Seen card, and the card leads them to the YouWereSeen.ca website. The website leads them to Jesus. So, if you were seen today, Karen wants you to know you matter. God sees you every day! Maybe this moment is a turning point for the rest of your life. http://karenkingsbury.com http://youwereseen.ca

Chris Collins
According to Doctors, Chris was not supposed to be here today. Doctors told his mother that, were she to carry him full term, he would likely die, and so the medical team recommended that she terminate her pregnancy. Gratefully Chris’s mother chose to tell the medical team that she was going to have her baby and Chris was born happy and healthy. Chris was given the name Christopher which means “Christ Bearer”. Chris’s story took him down some tough and lonely roads where for years he turned to empty meaningless escapes to handle his pain. The Holy Spirit kept wooing Chris during all this time, and through the love of a colleague at work, who chose to obey the prompting of the Holy Spirit, Chris heard the words “I have been praying for you” and she gave Chris a recording of worship songs and a letter with encouraging scriptures. Driving alone in his car, Chris listened to the music and then pulled over to read the letter. When Chris read the words in Psalm 66:5 “You Lord are good and ready to forgive and abundant in mercy to all who cry out to You” he was overcome by the presence of the Holy Spirit and he cried out to God for forgiveness and asked God to make his life new and to live inside of Him. Chris knows that Jesus rescued him that night and he knows that, no matter what comes his way in life, he is loved, accepted and never alone because he is a child of God.
