Natalie Frisk
As the curriculum pastor at The Meeting House - a multisite church in Canada, I oversee the development of kids and youth teaching from birth to end of high school. I've been in pastoral ministry for over a decade in an ever-changing multisite landscape. Prior to pastoral ministry, I worked briefly in education. I have an honours B.A. in English (Redeemer University College), M.T.S. (McMaster Divinity College), and am presently working towards a Doctor in Practical Theology (MDC) with a focus on the spirituality of children. Raising Disciples: How to Make Faith Matter for our Kids (Herald Press, 2019) This book is a labour of love and desire to see our kids grow as life-long disciples of Jesus. It delves into the idea of Jesus-centered parenting, and how we do it. It is designed to help parents, pastors, youth leaders, mentors, and Sunday school teachers disciple the next generation by offering best practices for nurturing the spiritual development of children and youth with practical ideas for discipling children, teenagers, and young adults. Dr. Rob Reimer
Brokenness grasps for the soul of humanity. We are broken body, soul, and spirit, and we need the healing touch of Jesus. Soul Care explores 7 principles that are profound healing tools of God: securing your identity, repentance, breaking family sin patterns, forgiving others, healing wounds, overcoming fears and deliverance. Dr. Reimer challenges readers to engage in an interactive, roll-up-your-sleeves and get messy process - a journey of self-reflection, Holy Spirit inspiration, deep wrestling, and surrender. It is a process of discovering yourself in true community and discovering God as He pierces through the layers of your heart. Life change is hard. But these principles, when packaged together and lived out, can lead to lasting transformation, freedom, and a healthy soul. Soul Care encourages you to gather a small group of comrades in arms, read and process together, open your souls to one another, access the presence and power of God together, and journey together into the freedom and fullness of Christ. http://renewalinternational.org
