Amelia Musselman
As a young girl Amelia went through extreme bullying. She was always an outsider and felt like she had something to prove. Because she was underdeveloped, a lot of classmates would target her and shame her for the way she looked. She spent ten years carrying the weight of that shame. When she was twenty years old, she turned to poetry as an outlet for the pain she experienced. She spent two years dealing with severe anxiety, and a state of profound sadness. She channeled her pain to poetry in her newly published poetry book "All of Me". Her book is her journey through life’s travails, from a state of profound sadness amidst the bullying, to uncovering what has been lost, to a place of redemption. Amelia's hope is that her story, expressed through poetry, will cultivate healing in the reader’s heart and hopefulness amongst their pain. www.amwords.net
Randy Barnetson
Pastor Randy was saved during the Jesus People movement. He went to Bible college and was the youngest to graduate. He pastored all over British Columbia, on the reserves and that’s where he gained a heart for First Peoples. Moving to Vancouver, Randy had a disturbing wake up call one morning - a woman had overdosed and was left dead in front of his bus. He heard God speak to him to start a church for those struggling with drugs and homelessness. 25 years later, Randy is still serving the Lord and raising up Indigenous leaders through the Bible college.
