Dennis Boettger
Dennis was raised in Alberta. He attended University in Edmonton, receiving degrees in Pharmacy, and then in Medicine. Dennis then practiced medicine as a missionary physician for 4 years in Ethiopia with a Mennonite mission. This was during the famine and civil war in the 1970’s. Dennis experienced healing and deliverance from anxiety and fear at the time he received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit during the 3 years at home between the terms in Ethiopia. This touch of Jesus transformed his life. In 2002 Dennis' wife passed away of cancer. In 2003 by a sovereign work of the Lord, he met Betty Reimer, and they were married in 2004 on Thanksgiving Sunday. Today Dennis is presently working part time in family medicine and surgery, and travelling together with Betty to rural communities and to the Canadian Arctic several times per year.
Betty Reimer Boettger
Betty was married at the age of 16 to her first husband, and lived in an abusive relationship with her alcoholic husband for 17 years, until one day he knelt by the hitch of his tractor, and prayed “God if you are real, there has to be more to life than this”. Jesus healed and delivered him then and there, and they had another 21 years together, during which their marriage was healed. Betty's first husband went to be with the Lord in 1997 as the result of cancer, and the Lord launched her into ministry. She has been ordained with two Pentecostal church organizations, and has a heart for evangelism and for the abused. 15 years ago, when Betty was ministering in Quebec, she met Dennis. Through divine revelation and confirmation, they were married on Thanksgiving Sunday in 2004. Together they have ministered in India, Singapore, Indonesia, Guatemala, the U.S.A. and Costa Rica as well as in Ontario, B.C., Saskatchewan, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Alberta, and Northwest Territories.
