Rena Gaile
Like many Christian artists, Rena Gaile, began her singing debut at her church as a young child. However, her dreams of personal fame drew her out of church music. As a successful professional singer and recording artist, Rena had hit songs in New Country Music, videos and appearances on Country Music Television and nominations for best new artist and female artist of the year and awards for her original songs. At the height of her career in the mid 90`s, she realized that her musical gifts were for God`s glory -- not her own. She offered her professional musical skills to the church she attended and began leading worship, singing and writing worship songs. Many of those songs were written with Mark Masri when she became a regular on 100 Huntley Street, one of them being Carry On which was used for Huntley`s 40th anniversary celebration. As an experienced solo artist, session singer, voice coach, bandleader and music teacher, Rena appreciates the fact that God gave her all of these musical gifts to develop and lead worship in the many different settings, wherever He leads. Today, Rena leads worship regularly with her husband Mark Wheatley at a tiny church in Muskoka. Gaile says, ``May my whole life be a testimony to the glorious riches and healing power of the love and grace of God.
