Paul Miles
Paul experienced a rebellious stage of life throughout his youth. He was involved with drugs, became an alcoholic, and ran away with a friend on one occasion. He went on welfare and at one point ended up in jail for a break and entry. The series of choices he made spiraled him down a rough path. After jail he became successful in business. He thought he had it all with money and success. While alone on a flight from a business trip from Montreal to Calgary, he kept thinking, “why am I not happy and feeling empty inside”? He prayed a simple prayer asking God into his life and then he felt weightless, at peace. He was cured immediately from alcoholism and began seeking God more. While on a mission’s trip he read a verse in James 1:27 about looking after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself polluted by the world. That is when he began “Father’s Heart Project”. This ministry provides hope and a sustainable future with education and healthcare for orphaned and disadvantaged children. http://fathersheartprojectsfoundation.org/about/our-leaders/
