Stephen Prendergast
Jesus Christ became more than just a name to Steve on June 2, 2007. Up to that point Steve had drifted from Christianity to atheism and spent over 20 years in a cycle of abuse and drug addiction. Steve was blessed to have a Mother who never gave up on him and he is grateful to his Mother and his Aunt for their persistence in prayer on his behalf. For over 20 years these ladies prayed in faith for Steve to come back to Christ. Steve eventually hit his 'rock bottom' and found himself at a Teen Challenge Centre. Steve shares his inspiring story about how he went from being an addict to an addictions counsellor and now a Development Officer for Teen Challenge. www.teenchallenge.ca
