Bruce Hitchen
Earlier this year, Gordon Petrie, a man who found himself homeless and needing shelter, sought refuge in a shed located on the property of Holy Cross Parish in Surrey BC. Bruce Hitchen, Parish President, began to notice how the property was suddenly being maintained and how vandalism had decreased. At first, Bruce was not aware of who was responsible for this until one day he saw a man appear on the church security camera footage. Gordon sought Gordon out and soon discovered Gordon was the person behind the positive changes he was seeing. Today Bruce and Gordon join via Skype to share more about this inspiring and heartwarming story, and to shine a light on homelessness within our Nation and talk about what we can do to offer hope and share Jesus’ love to those in need within our own communities. http://crossparish.ca
