Liz met Simone in 2009 when Simone searched Liz online to help her start jump rope programs in Bermuda. They became friends and Liz travelled from Canada to Bermuda many times. Liz felt the conviction like none she’s experienced before to donate one of her kidneys for her friend. Her husband agreed. Testing involved psychological and physical procedures which Liz was willing to undergo. Liz joins us to talk about her journey - although she met Simone through business, the connection became lifesaving.
