Can the Local Church Really be a Welcoming Place for All - Loreli Cockram
Today's Teens Conference 2021 - Reimagine • 1h 0m
"I want to get to know Jesus, but want nothing to do with the church." It's not an unfamiliar refrain for many of the youth YU serves, yet one of YU's priorities is to see young people find life-long community in local churches. How can we embrace the often messy and circuitous journey of welcoming young people from varied backgrounds into our faith communities? Join us as we explore the mutually beneficial possibilities when our youth and local church communities come together for life.
Facilitator:
Loreli Cockram - Young Parents Ministry Director at Youth Unlimited
Panelists:
Erinn Oxford - Executive Director & Pastor at the Dale Ministries
Bill Dyck - Senior Pastor at Toronto Alliance Church
Jordan Thoms - Minister at Connect City
Enrico Kabongo - Youth Leader at Warden Underground
