But it’s not just religious institutions. Here in Canada, a CBC exclusive investigation found 222 coaches in Canada have been convicted of abusing more than 600 victims in the past 20 years.
One of those victims, former NHL star Theo Fleury speaks with us about life-long trauma of being sexually abused by his coach.
