Selah
With more than half-a-billion streams, over 4 million albums sold, and 11 GMA Dove Awards to their credit, Selah’s Allan Hall, Amy Perry and Todd Smith have earned a reputation for not only delivering compelling new anthems but also for reviving great hymns of faith. With their soaring harmonies and distinctive lead vocals, they have breathed new life into timeless musical treasures that have ministered to believers for generations. They have also populated culture with such enduring hits as “Press On,” “Wonderful, Merciful Savior,” “You Raise Me Up,” “Hope of the Broken World” and “All My Praise.” The members of Selah are so grateful to hear how God has used their music to impact others, and they treasure the times when fans share that with them. “We get letters and emails and people telling us after shows that they’ve let us into some of their darkest moments and I think it’s because we aren’t afraid to sing about hard things,” Hall says. “Sometimes, people tell us that while their loved ones were dying of cancer they were singing our songs to them as they were passing. Words can’t describe how that makes me feel. To be let into those moments and for us to have that privilege - that God has let us take the gift of music and share it and do something that could help someone - is special.” Sharing the gospel and encouraging believers has become a way of life, and they are grateful for the opportunity to serve. “One thing I always go back to is hope,” Smith says with a smile. “Hope has always been a big theme in our music and hope is a big theme of this album. When you look back at history, God brought people through the Bubonic Plague. God brought us through a Civil War. God brought us through WWI. God brought us through the Depression. He brought us through WWII. If you look back at all the times in your life where you felt overwhelmed, there’s still always hope. He always carries you through, and these songs are a reminder that you matter and that God is working. He is bringing you along into His story.” http://selahonline.com

Cristina Baker
Now more than ever, we all face trying situations. The hope we need and hunger for is not a strategy or state of mind, but faith in Jesus. He stands secure for us in the face of every trial, from loss to sickness to injustice. Through 20 short prayers, 10 personal stories of miraculous transformations, and Biblical teachings, Hope in 60 Seconds will help you take the first steps towards a journey of security in the hope of Jesus. “At twenty-one I was as far from hopeful as anyone could get. Maybe as far as you are now.” These are the words of Cristina Baker as she considered her traumatic life: from childhood abuse to troubled teen years, to a descent into substance abuse, she resonates with a lost world who understands first-hand how easy it is to lose hope. Then, just as she was about to go to jail for drug possession, the Hero of Hope, Jesus Christ, came into her life and set her on a completely new path. If you are weary and doubting, Cristina understands. Hope in 60 Seconds will help you to: • Be encouraged and empowered by someone who has been in a similar place of discouragement and discovered Christ’s authority and love, • Learn how Jesus establishes hope and begin to experience it first-hand in the darkest of circumstances, • Grow in your ability to connect with Jesus and find the hope you have longed for all of your life, and • Prove that a connection with Jesus is the ultimate source of hope. The message of Cristina’s life is Jesus, the hope we need and hunger for—a hope that will stand secure in the face of brokenness, loss, sickness, abuse, a brain tumor diagnosis, injustice, and death. In Hope in 60 Seconds, she shares the steps of her journey to encounter, receive, and walk in the hope of Jesus, and offers readers powerful wisdom for how they can take the same journey for themselves. http://cristinabaker.com

Emma Benoit
Emma Benoit became extremely passionate about suicide prevention after surviving a suicide attempt in 2017, the summer before her senior year in high school. At the time, she was a popular varsity cheerleader with a supportive family and lots of friends, but on the inside, she was filled with depression and anxiety, and had never told a soul about it. Her attempt resulted in a spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed but helped her find faith and purpose; and propelled her on a mission to use her painful experience and miraculous recovery to help others. A few months after her attempt, Emma started the website liferejuvenated.org and a blog to share her story and recovery journey to help other teens who are struggling. In early 2018, Emma began working on a documentary film called My Ascension, which chronicles her recovery journey and advocacy work, while addressing the youth suicide epidemic. Emma serves as an Ambassador for LivingWorks, the world’s leader in suicide prevention training Emma is an uplifting speaker who has shared her powerful story and message with thousands of people at in person and virtual conferences and events including: LivingWorks and California Department of Education Youth Summit, National Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health Conference, LSU School of Social Work Conference, Arkansas Youth Mental Health Conference, Hope Rising Suicide Prevention Summit and the Hope Squad National Conference. Emma is a 2018 graduate of Dutchtown High School, and her strength and motivation are rooted in her strong faith and supportive family. http://liferejuvenated.org http://myascension.us

Mandisa
Grammy award-winning music artist Mandisa tells an inspiring story of peaks and valleys, trials and joys, wins and losses. Through her gripping narrative, she shows that our choice to trust God can not only overcome our need to understand why bad things happen, but can help us to embrace a life of joy and freedom. Out of the Dark is Mandisa's exploration of the journey she's taken from when she first became a Christian, to her rise as an American Idol finalist and receiving multiple Grammy and Dove Award nominations, as well as the dark and challenging times she experienced along the way. She writes personally and openly about the hardships she has faced and the way she felt betrayed by God, but also about how God has brought her out of the valley into His glorious light. Along the way, she also shares her struggles in learning how to love her body and care for her health. Just as Mandisa's Grammy-award winning song "Overcomer" was topping the Contemporary Christian Music charts, her friend for whom "Overcomer" had been written passed away. After losing this close friend to cancer, despite years of prayers on her behalf, Mandisa descended into depression, isolating herself and turning to her familiar friend, food, for comfort. Throughout Out of the Dark, Mandisa uses her experiences to address the following themes: The pain of grief and loss Surviving abuse Embracing true beauty and a healthy body image Coping with severe depression Healthy--and disordered--eating The role of faith in hope and healing Letting go of shame Following your unique calling and passion How friends and family are crucial for healing The challenges of 2020, including protecting mental and emotional health while navigating a public health crisis; quarantining; and coping with racial injustice Trusting God daily for hope and healing In the darkness, Mandisa knew God was there -- but she wondered if she could trust Him. Even at her lowest point where she saw no human way forward, God was at work, powerfully redeeming her story and calling her out of the dark. Mandisa tells her story with warmth and vulnerability, challenging us all to focus on God's purpose for our lives, surround ourselves with friends who will fight for us, and face life's challenges with courage and faith. If you've ever found yourself in a dark place as the result of grief, depression, or loss, Mandisa's story will reassure you that even when you're walking through dark valleys, God can and will lead you on a path to joy and hope. http://mandisaofficial.com

Ben Fuller
Music has taken Ben Fuller’s life and made it into something he never would have dreamed. Ben grew up in Southern Vermont on his family dairy farm working along-side his father. He'd pass the time by singing to old classic country tunes as he witnessed first-hand the hard work and dedication it took to run a farm. The songs never stopped and somewhere between the farm and college, he picked up a guitar and never looked back. Due to generations of hurt in his family, Ben struggled with certain aspects of growing up and turned to cocaine and alcohol at a young age. In 2015, Ben got involved in a devastating drug-fueled relationship which led him to understand better, the other side of addiction. In addition, come 2017, he abruptly lost his best friend to a heroin overdose and his entire outlook on life shifted. Motivated to change, he moved to Nashville to pursue a career as a country singer in late 2018. A family Ben was close with invited him to church one Sunday and as he walked the halls into the auditorium filled with 3,000 people, he knew one day he would sing "that kind of music" for the rest of his life. Falling face first into his new-found relationship with Jesus, he began writing with a burning desire to share what God did to turn his life around. Today, Ben lives completely sober, while sharing his story filled with hope, mercy and grace. By turning his testimony into songs, he has been rejuvenated with a new passion and mission; to share his story with the world and all who are ready to listen. http://benfullerofficial.com

Trevor Dick
Award-winning band leader, Trevor Dick, is a jazz/world/pop/classical crossover violinist and composer, whose style evokes the sound of Jean Luc Ponty, Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Mark Wood, Mark O’Connor, Jerry Goodman and Hugh Marsh all rolled into one. He also has a unique feather in his cap: he is the performer of The Weather Network “Local East Coast Back Beat” theme. Trevor has performed with or opened for such talent as Iona, Great Big Sea, Robin Mark, Carolyn Arends, Amanda Cook, Mike Janzen, Laila Biali and the Newsboys’ Paul Coleman and toured across North America, South America and Africa, both as a solo artist and with The Trevor Dick Band. Born in Nigeria to missionary parents, his father died in a car accident when he was 4-years-old, prompting his mother to return to Canada with her seven children. She was a musician herself and enrolled Trevor in violin and piano lessons at age 7. “The piano lasted a week, but I immediately took to the violin,” he says. He won local music competitions and later, at 15, toured as the youngest member of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. Soon, he turned his attention to pop-rock and jazz. “In the 80s, to the horror of my classical violin teacher, I began attaching a cheap contact pick-up with putty to my 180-year-old English made violin, ran through effects, to learn some Jean-Luc Ponty jazz-fusion tunes,” Trevor recalls. While earning a classical Music Performance degree at the University of Toronto with the goal to becoming a concert violinist, he was given 5-string custom blue electric violin by luthier Zoltan Ari and continued the exploring and improvising. As a composer, Trevor’s African roots seep into his writing, rhythmic playing, phrasing and choice of melody. “I love how music can transcend all cultural and language barriers and connect with others at a soul level,” he says. To date, Trevor has released six albums under his own name, the latest, “New World” under the group moniker, the Trevor Dick Band. For the past decade, he has also aligned himself with Compassion Canada, ShareWord Global and is the founder and Executive/Artistic director of the full sending mission organization for musicians and artists called Flyingbow. http://trevordickband.com http://trevordick.com/ http://flyingbow.com
