Bosco Poon
Bosco H.C. Poon, professionally known by his stage name B.O.Z (Born Of Zion), is a Chinese rapper-songwriter. His interest in rap began in high school where he started to develop his own rapping style in Cantonese and Mandarin by studying the Western Hip-hop culture. At age 20, he won first place of the Vancouver Hip-hop New Talent Contest by Warner Music Taiwan in 2002. Two years later, he formed a Hip-hop crew “Syndicate” with a few musical friends and the group signed with EMI Music Taiwan. Before their debut album released, he made a bad decision which led his music career came to a pause. This mistake gave him a serious prison sentence in Canada. During his imprisonment, he found faith in God. By studying and training, he eventually became an inmate peer counselor and an evangelist. Since his parole from 2010, he continued to serve the community by using inspirational/gospel music with speeches at different local schools, churches and social events. He became a Pastor in 2014 and the Lead Pastor of More Than 12 Church in Richmond BC in 2017. He spent five years to write an autobiography “Beyond My Wildest Imagination”. It won the “Best New Canadian Manuscript” at The WORD AWARDS in June 2019. http://facebook.com/B.O.Zpage http://http://www.instagram.com/bozpage
Stan and Sally Bragg
Stan and Sally Bragg met at a mild-may dance in Bruce Country. Soon after, they got married. They spent years in the party lifestyle, but it was the passing of Stan's father in law, that caused him to search for more out of life. A pastor and co-worker shared the love of Jesus with him and he accepted Christ. The change was so dramatic that Sally thought aliens took over her husband! But, it was the change in his behavior that softened her heart towards God. While at home folding laundry, Sally tuned into 100 Huntley Street and she identified with a woman who was sharing her testimony on the program. They asked people if they would like to accept Jesus into their heart and Sally made the choice! Today, the Bragg's have been leading Kids Church ministry on the reserve of Saugeen First Nation for the past 19 years. The kids who attended are now leaders in the program.
