Joe DiPenta
As a teenager, Joe DiPenta drifted in and out of church and focused most on his love for Hockey. As a Pro Hockey Player, he found all that the world had to offer left him feeling empty. He found his way to an Alpha course which brought an increase of faith. He recommitted his life to the Lord at the age of 26. He enjoys his involvement in a summer Hockey camp through Hockey Ministries International in his hometown of Cole Harbour, NS. He is currently the Executive Director of Development with Divine Renovation Ministry. Their mission is to inspire and equip 35,000 parishes to become missional through 3 keys of renewal: the primacy of evangelization, the best of leadership principles, and the power of the Holy Spirit held together by the celebration of the Eucharist. This is accomplished through events, resources, and hands-on coaching all designed to help parishes make and form missionary disciples. Our podcast and video series cover topics such as team building, prayer, preaching, sacraments, and ministry, all through the lens of moving from maintenance to mission. We help parish leaders uncover a vision for their parish and mobilize parishioners towards the realization of that vision to guide their ministries. http://divinerenovation.net
