Dave Donaldson
Today's Program originally aired on February 18, 2020 - prior to physical distancing mandates. Dave Donaldson’s impactful story from his youth has invested his life in inspiring, equipping and resourcing leaders in more than 100 countries to bring aid and opportunity to millions of needy and under-resourced people. As the co-founder of Convoy of Hope, Dave spearheaded global partnerships with churches, organizations and businesses to mobilize tens of thousands of volunteers worldwide. In 2016 Dave retired from Convoy of Hope to found CityServe International. The book “CityServe: Your Guide to Church-Based Compassion” touches on how people want to make a lasting difference through compassion ministry; but they are busy with all of the other demands and its hard to know where to start; people want their church to be known for meeting needs but at times feel under-resourced and overwhelmed. CityServe was written for difference makers like this. CityServe, written by forty leading experts in community-based and global compassion will inspire and equip people to: become a leader of influence in their community, adopt proven models for churches of any size, recruit and mobilize volunteers to serve, partner with government and local businesses, acquire funds and in-kind gifts. http://davedonaldson.com
Kristy Donaldson

Dave and Kristy share their personal story of how they felt called to become foster parents, and how this calling led to the adoption of their daughter, Barbara. Barbara was welcomed into their family when she appeared on their doorstep as a nervous, doubtful 16 year old girl with a box of her possessions. Barbara was legally adopted by Dave and Kristy after she aged out of the foster care system; and, the family recently celebrated Barbara’s wedding
Donald Bouchard
Today's program originally aired on February 18, 2020 - prior to physical distancing mandates. As a young man Donald quickly found himself surrounded by the pressures of drugs and alcohol. He became involved with drug dealing and other crimes, including human trafficking. It was at that lowest point of his life when a taxi driver reached out to him by offering to pay his airfare to wherever he had to go to make things right. There was no judgement, no condemnation; just pure love and acceptance for who he was in the eyes of Christ. Donald was left with a deep conviction. He surrendered to Jesus, and turned his life around. Bouchard now spreads his testimony of redemption coast to coast. His most important objective is to prevent youth from going down the same path of destruction. Donald has shared his story in churches and various places of confinement such as prisons and rehabs. He truly believes that "darkness is simply the absence of light". http://outofthedarknessnovella.com
