John Scissons
John was living in Hawaii - leading a double life - when he stopped in White Rock to visit his wife & two children. He didn't know it at the time, but she had become a Christian and was praying for John. John's nearly three-year-old son came running down the driveway to greet him, and the first words he ever heard him speak were "I got Jesus in my heart". The program that was on the TV that morning was 100 Huntley Street with Fr. Bob MacDougall. He sat and watched before catching a plane to Saskatoon. John had experience some terrible things at a boys high school and thought ... "If this is one of God's chosen servants ... why would I want to know God". But God pursued John in answer to the prayers of his wife, and John experienced a change of heart & life. Today he is the operations manager at Alexanders House in Saskatoon. www.alexandershouse.ca
