Bernadine "Dee" Miles is releasing her first book“Footprints on My Heart, a biography which is a tell all story about her life as a single mother living away from her family working as a trauma nurse in North Carolina. This is a griping story of how life never came easy. Surviving through Hurricane Floyd, toxic relationships and the murder of her beautiful daughter Alyssa. Dee hopes her story can inspire those who are struggling and that it’s possible to pick up the pieces and rebuild yourself. Dee says; "People say that God will not give us more than we can handle I feel like I have been dragged to the breaking point over and over again. This book book is for all parents who have lost a child. it is not right that they before us, especially those whose lives were ended in violence. God bless you. I hope you d comfort in my story. This book is for those who grieve silently. Life is not easy for anyone. If you stop and listen to others, you will see that everyone has a story. mine is a tragic one.
